Ivy lane is located at 601 Highway 65 B in a historic rock building in between Food for Life and Ingram’s Tire. This site has seen many businesses dating back to 1940’s. In the 40’s and 50’s this location was home to the Clinton Steak House. The Clinton Steak House was not a traditional steak house more of a café and local hang out. The steak house building remained vacant for the later years of its life and was torn down in the 1960’s but the lot did not remain vacant for long. Finis and Betty Ingram who had recently purchased the Ingram’s Tire building erected the building that still stands there today. The triplex has seen many business over the years from Pentacle Studios with Roberta Katz Messenger doing stained glass to Tyson’s TV, Merle Norman’s, Moore’s Barber Shop, a milk company, and quilting shop to list a few. Travel down Highway 65 B in Clinton to this historical district to enjoy a unique shopping experience. Ivy Lane is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Beverly prides herself on customer service and helping her customers find that perfect gift.
