Lectures, living history events and exhibits are among the events the Arkansas Civil War Sesquicentennial Commission has sanctioned for November 2012. Among the Civil War sesquicentennial events during November are:

* "The Camden Expedition and Its Role in the Red River Campaign of 1864," a lecture by Dr. Gary Joiner of Louisiana State University-Shreveport, will be held at the SouthArk Library Auditorium in El Dorado on Nov. 1; call (870) 862-8131 or e-mail director@soarkhistory.com for additional information.
