The Fairgrounds in Clinton will be alive with music at Saturday, June 8. Local country/rock band Lucky Draw will take the stage for a rockin’ country performance at 8 p.m. as the finale of the Clinton Music Festival. The band has been together for five years and has played venues all around the area. They play a mix of classic country and classic rock that is sure to appeal to all ages.

Opening for Lucky Draw at 7 p.m. is Kasey Kimmons-Nelson, a hometown favorite hailing from Shirley. The singer/songwriter/guitarist will perform a variety of folk/pop music with some Southern country. At 6 p.m. Brian Martin will wow the audience with his unique style of folk/blues. He writes all his own material and is expert on the guitar and harmonica. At 5 p.m. the young group The Southard’s will entertain with their old style bluegrass music.

Admission is free to The Clinton Music Festival that begins at 1 p.m. with gospel groups until 5 p.m. Many local businesses have donated raffle items and Dino the Dinosaur Bounce House will entertain the kids. Jammers are welcome. All music groups perform inside with seating available. Donations are appreciated to benefit the Van Buren County Literacy Council.
