The Maria Van Buren Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 7, to tour the Fairfield Bay Museum. All members, prospective members and interested guests are welcome.

The Central Arkansas Polio Survivors support group will meet at 10 a.m. March 16 at the Heber Springs Community Center, 201 Bobbie Jean Lane. This is the 75th anniversary of the March of Dimes and the group would like to hear survivors’ stories of being a poster child or how the organization helped with braces, shoes, and more.

Jerry Marshall will sing at the Burnt Ridge Community Church at 6 p.m. Saturday. A potluck will follow.

Second Saturday at the Killebrew Theater in downtown Leslie will mark the beginning of its fourth season March 9. In Cahoots, that band that started the program, will perform. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the admission price of $5 goes to the preservation of the Ozark Heritage Arts Center.

The 2nd Annual Marshall High School Art Club Chocolate Roll Festival will be held Saturday, 16 March, at Marshall High School. Festival begins at 10 a.m. and awards given at 2 p.m. The centerpiece of the festival is a competition to determine who makes the world’s best chocolate rolls.
