A new nonprofit community market in Clinton for farmers, artists and crafters is making plans for its grand opening.
The Dirty Farmers Community Market will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, at the former Hypertech building on Highway 65B, which is where the market will soon open for business, to talk about plans for opening day.
Market Chairwoman Jackie Sikes says there still is some space left for farmers, crafters and artists to join in the venture. Farmers pay a $60 annual fee to sell their fruit and produce at the market. Crafters and artists pay a $30 monthly fee to sell their items. Volunteers will run the market from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, Sikes said.
Anyone interested in the market may call Sikes at 253-4716 for more information
