Lindsey Triplett was elected as the 2013-2014 Arkansas FFA Northwest District vice president during the 2013 Arkansas State FFA Convention held earlier this month at Camp Couchdale in Hot Springs.

Triplett recently graduated from South Side Bee Branch High School, where she most recently served as the 2012-2013 chapter president. Prior to that, she served as chapter reporter from 2010-2012. She received her State FFA degree in 2012.

She had also received the Star Chapter Farmer and Star Chapter Greenhand awards. Triplett competed on numerous judging teams and has shown livestock at county, district and state fairs, winning Northwest District Superior Showman in 2012.

Triplett also has performed in talent shows at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis for the past two years, at the State FFA Convention for three years, and the State FFA Alumni Convention for two yaers.

This summer, she will be working at the state FFA Camp Couchdale, preparing and coordinating summer camp programs and workshops for FFA students from across the state who will be attending Camp Couchdale to train in leadership skills.
