Saturday, May 13, ACCDA (Alread Community Center Development Association, Inc.) hosted a health fair and breakfast at the Alread School grounds. This was a really good opportunity for anyone in the local area to not only enjoy a delicious meal (biscuits and gravy, anyone?) and a hot cup of coffee (yes, please!), but to also get a check-up at no monetary expense whatsoever. This was really uplifting to see. Nurses from Ozark Health set up in the ACCDA office and conducted blood work and health screenings for free. Several residents from the Alread community attended, making this event a success.
