Mothers day is a celebration honoring mothers and is observed in over forty countries around the world. Mother’s believe in us more than we do ourselves, they do more for us then they do for themselves, they give more to us than they do for themselves and love us more than we do ourselves. Being a mother is one if the greatest things there is but it’s also one of the hardest and bravest things you will ever do. “Being a mother is learning about strengths you didn’t know you had, and dealing with fears you didn’t know existed,” Linda Wooten. To Mother’s everywhere and especially to my Mother and my Mother-in-law who shares her son with me: Happy Mothers Day. I hope you all have a wonderful day and know that your children love and appreciate you no matter how often they see you or how far away you live.

Spring is a wonderful time of year even when recent storms knock over trees and fill our creeks and rivers. Spring is baseball season. There’s nothing like watching your grandson play baseball and screaming till your voice is hoarse. It’s always a good time to go to the movies and watch a movie like, “Boss Baby” with your grandchildren, spill popcorn and laugh until your sides hurt. It’s a time for bar-b-que get togethers with friends and family and to celebrate all the beauty that surrounds us.

Memorial day will soon be here. If you have a Memorial day event, have news, or a part of our history that you would like to share, call, text email, grandmayogi7@yahoo.com or message me on my Dennard news Facebook page, 501-253-4716 or 501-757-2750.
