Ozark Health celebrated National Hospital and Nursing Home Appreciation Week May 10 - May 17. During this fun filled week, $4,500.00 was given back to the employees. We appreciate all of our staff, the dedication and teamwork they display every day serving our community with their healthcare needs.

The week started off with a breakfast served by the managers, a balloon release and Judge Roger Hooper read and signed a proclamation recognizing the week. On the second day, employees were treated to snow cones and competed in the Hungry Human Hippos game for cash prizes. Everyone had a great time. The staff enjoyed a cookout and a dessert contest on Friday. Ozark Health provided hot dogs and hamburgers for everyone. Our contracted food brokers Sysco, Lakeland Foods, Hormel, and General Mills also provided and served an assortment of foods such as brisket, ham, chicken and a multitude of desserts. On Monday, random names were drawn to play Deal or No Deal with a grand total of $2,000 worth of cash giveaways. Everyone had a great time, and some staff left with a little more jingle in the pockets. On Tuesday, Ping Pong Pass proved to be more challenging than expected! We saw the competitiveness shine in our staff. The week ended with outside games such as horseshoes and washers, an ice cream sundae bar, and a scavenger hunt that landed 16 lucky employees a crisp $50.00 bill.

Ozark Health realizes our staff is what makes us so valuable to the community. Giving back to our employees in whatever way we can, making sure they know how much they are appreciated is important to us. We are lucky to have the best of the best working at Ozark Health. If you have not been by in a while, stop in, view the website, or check us out on Facebook or Twitter. We want to welcome the community in as our family.
