With the funds from the GoFundMe account and the donations that have been mailed or brought in person we have over $2,000. already. See, we can do this! Thanks to all that have been working and for the donations.
For anyone who would like to donate toward roof replacement for old gym building but may not want or have ability to use Go Fund Me: You may mail your donation made payable to Scotland Community Corp c/o James Burns, 441 Scotland Formosa Rd, Scotland, AR 72141. Don Ramsey finally got to come home from the hospital on Thursday. He has had a heat stroke, tick fever, pneumonia, and cellulitis. He has had more than his share. Gary Ingram got a crew together (sorry, I do not know their names) and they built a ramp for Don so he could get in and out of the house easier. This was a very neighborly thing to do and I am sure it is greatly appreciated.
Have a great week and if you have news call James Burns at 592-3935 and he will get it into the paper.
