I think I used the Labor day weekend to do nothing but “labor” at having fun. It’s that time of year when the weather cools down and there are more events happening in our community. We’ve been busy attending the Clinton Lady Jacket volleyball games and Yellow Jacket football has started, go jackets! The Clinton Senior center did a “delicious” job once again serving up one of the best fish fries you’ll ever eat at and for a good cause. Then of course there were the many events taking place at the chuck wagon event, also in Clinton. Having fun wasn’t far from home this week.
Fall is certainly not a boring time of year and a great time to meet up with friends and having some fun. Remember always to take time to stop and smell the flowers, and dance like no one is watching.
If you live in the Dennard area and have a fall event you would like to share, news, or a part of our history that you would like to share, call, text or email, firstname.lastname@example.org or message me on my Dennard News Facebook page, 501-253-4716.
