Hurricane Irma, reaching the southern tip of Florida early Sunday afternoon, has the potential to bring some rain to Van Buren County by Wednesday - based on current storm-track projections. The National Weather Service shows two-tenths of an inch of rain in its forecast for the area.

The impact is expected to be minor.

A high pressure front is forecast to move into the state later on Wednesday. Some rain may proceed this, but it would also be a force to push any Irma remnants out of the state.
