There will be a benefit pie auction for the Neal family soon; I will let you know the set date soon. The Neal family, who lived down Watson Road in Alread, lost their house and all of their belongings in a fire in December.

The candlelit dinner that was supposed to be on February 10 has been canceled. ACCDA will likely host another dinner soon, however, and I will let you know as soon as I have been informed of a new date.

You can bring your recyclables to the bins behind the Alread Cafeteria on Feb. 10, however, from 8 to 10 a.m. We’ve got our normal activities going on, such as the exercise program at the Alread EH Club. They’re always free and feature low-impact strengthening exercises. The exercise class meets every MWF from 9 to 10:30 a.m.

ACCDA is hosting a traditional Irish dinner for St. Patrick’s Day (Saturday, March 17) at the Alread Cafeteria. The meal will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. Adults and Children 12 and above: $8, Couples: $15, Children 3-11: $5, Children 2 and under: free. There is a family discount available for $25.

Sheila McGrath would like to keep doing the quilting circle every Thursday (from about 9 to 1) but needs at least one more person. If you are interested, please give her a call: 501-745-2389. If you would like to use the EH Club building for a family event, then Sheila is also the person that you want to call about that.
