The Prescott Lady Wolves will be one of the top contenders to finish strong heading into the district tournament this week after concluding the regular season schedule topping Mena 41-36, Horatio 48-44, but falling to Cossatot River 36-20 to split their series match-up.

The Lady Wolves have clinch a spot in the regional tournament by finishing the conference season as one of the top two teams. The Lady Wolves are 17-10 overall and finish league play 9-5 both plus .500 for the season under head coach B.J. Rogers with assistant coach Heidi Graham.
The Lady Wolves return to the district tourney as defending tourney champs looking to clinch back to back titles heading into the regional tournament play. The leadership of seniors' Lacie Nolen, Haleigh Wiley, Anna Byers and Tavonica Barzar aim to help lead the Lady Wolves back down to the road to state through their last run participating in Prescott senior girls basketball program.

LADY WOLVES 48, HORATIO 44
The Lady Wolves had a tough road match-up by prevailing over the Horatio Lady Lions 48-44 to sweep the series match-up. The Lady Wolves maintained an two-point lead over the Lady Lions 25-23 at the break for first half action. In the second half, the Lady Wolves outscored Horatio 23-21 to secure the two point win for third and fourth quarter scoring.
For the game, Lady Wolves' Lacie Nolen led scoring with 19 points with one trifecta made behind the arc for double-figures. Haleigh Wiley finished with nine points, Jonay Roberts had six points, Maggie Grimes and Abigail Dougan each had three points apiece with Dougan swishing a trey and Jai Dorrough finished with two points.

LADY WOLVES 41, MENA 36
It was a hard fought to the end, but the Lady Wolves edged off Mena for the five point road victory. The Lady Wolves trailed at the break 22-19 to Mena at halftime. In the second half, the Lady Wolves stepped up big offensively to outscore Mena 22-15 for third and fourth quarters combine and defensively held the them under double-digit scoring in the final two periods of action. For the game, Lady Wolves' Nolen led scoring with 16 points and Wiley with a trey had 10 points for double-figures. Byers swished two trey's for six points, Roberts finished with four points and Tavonica Barzar had three points.
