A Sebastian County Detention Center deputy was arrested in Van Buren Saturday night.

Emily Dugan, 26, of Alma was arrested at 11:50 p.m. Saturday on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct, possession of a controlled substance and public intoxication, according to a Crawford County Detention Center deputy. All of the offenses are misdemeanors.

Dugan was released Sunday on a $1,950 legally sufficient bond. She is scheduled to appear in court May 24 at 1 p.m.

Sebastian County Sheriff's Office Capt. Philip Pevehouse said Dugan has worked at the Sebastian County Detention Center as a detention center deputy for two months.
