Alread’s Annual Fireworks Show is coming up soon. This free event will take place on June 30, the Saturday before the holiday. A large community potluck will begin at the Alread F.U.N. Park at 6 p.m. and the best fireworks show around will begin when it gets dark. Bring all of your family and a blanket or your own chairs to this huge community event and have a great time!

After the fireworks show, which usually lasts about an hour, the band Lucky Rooster will perform. T-shirts for this year’s event are for sale now. You can find the event page on Facebook under “Alread Community Fireworks Show” to request to have a shirt saved for you; there is a limited quantity available. Adult sizes are $15 and youth sizes are $10.

Just as we’re so thankful to live in a free country, the Alread community is also thankful to everyone who makes this annual show — as well as all of our community events — a possibility. It feels good to come together to celebrate our country, our beautiful state, and our special community.

A low-impact strengthening exercise class meets at the Alread EH Club building weekly every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 a.m. until about 10:30 a.m. This program is completely free to the public and a lot of fun.
