Fort Smith police on Monday arrested a woman on a robbery warrant.
Regina Antionette Giovacchini of Fort Smith was arrested on suspicion of felony robbery punishable by up to 20 years in prison. Her arrest stems from a warrant issued out of Sebastian County.
According to the incident report, Fort Smith police officer Kevin Bolin around 2:30 p.m. Monday stopped a white Mitsubishi Expo in the 5300 block of Park Avenue after seeing it on the roadway without a license. He found Giovacchini in the vehicle and took her to the Sebastian County Adult Detention Center after confirming her robbery warrant.
