Three of the family members of Hope Public Schools Educator Hall of Fame honorees inducted on Friday night also toured the Henry C. Yerger School Museum on Thursday in Hope.

Mattie Rutherford Harding, daughter of Will V. Rutherford; Ellen Turner, daughter of Mary Nell Turner; and Dr. Valerie Yerger, daughter of Henry C. Yerger, were given a Thursday morning tour by members of the Yerger Alumni Association. Current educators on hand to welcome them were Hope Superintendent Bobby Hart, Hope Academy of Public Service Principal Dr. Carol Ann Duke; Yerger Middle School Principal Josclyn Wiley; and Beryl Henry Elementary School Principal Dr. Roy Turner.

Also, Ellen Turner, daughter of former Hope High School journalism teacher Mary Nell Turner, shared a stories with Mattie Rutherford Harding, daughter of former Yerger High School Principal Will V. Rutherford, and Dr. Valerie Yerger, daughter of Henry C. Yerger, while touring the Henry C. Yerger School Museum. The three family members of honorees of the Hope Public Schools Educator Hall of Fame were joined by Hope Superintendent Bobby Hart, and Yerger Alumni Association President Mary White.
