A Clinton native is being held in Faulkner County on several charges.

David Ray Cook, 56, whose address is listed as Morrilton, was arrested at Beaverfork Lake last week, charged with disorderly conduct, sexual misconduct and indecent exposure after a deputy reportedly caught him engaging in lewd sexual activity with inflated balloons.

Cook was dressed as a woman and had pornographic pictures taped to the car windows when the deputy found him about 7 a.m. Feb. 12, according to reports.

Cook had been free on $55,000 bond since June 2012. After the Faulkner County incident, Cook’s bond has been revoked. He faces several charges in Van Buren County including rape, possesion of material depicting child sex, maintaining a drug premises, and manufacture, delivery and possession of a controlled substance.

The rape charge was filed in September 2011, after a man who had visited Cook in December 2010 told sheriff’s investigators that Cook showed him a video tape of him having sex with an underage girl, according to court documents. The girl later told investigators that Cook had been her mother’s boyfriend at the time and assaulted her when her mother was away, the documents say.

Cook is set for pre-trial on April 1, 2013, in Van Buren County Circuit Court.
