Dear Editor:

This letter is to all the parents who have children walking the streets at night. We live on Poplar Street. We try to keep our yard nice.

Saturday night, July 19, someone or some teens decided it would be fun to vandalize our front yard. They broke and stole our little lights that we put out.

I know they think it was cute. But what they don’t know is we have security cameras up. So if you have teens out at night looking for fun, Poplar Street is not the place.

We have reported this to the police. This, by the way, happened after 11 p.m. because they lights were checked before we went to bed.

Anyone caught vandalizing our property will be arrested even for a broken light.

Roy and Louise Moore
