The 2013-2014 school year for Clinton School District will begin Monday, Aug. 19. School will begin at 7:55 a.m. for all schools.

Dismissal time for elementary/intermediate car riders will be 3:05 p.m. and bus riders will dismiss at 3:15. The dismissal time for Clinton Junior and Senior high schools will be 3:25 p.m.

Seventh-grade orientation/open house has been scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 15. Students will pick up schedules and tour the building from 4-6:30 p.m. The open house will be followed by seventh-grade orientation at 6:30 p.m. in the high school cafeteria.

Tenth-grade orientation for parents has been scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 15, at 6 p.m. in the Clinton High School Cafeteria.

Open house for the K-6 schools has been scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 15, from 4-6 p.m. The federal programs’ coordinator will be available to answer any questions about the Title I plan for Clinton schools.

Students in grades K-6 who have not previously attended Clinton schools will need to register at the principal’s office at their school. Each office will register new students Monday-Thursday from 8 a.m.-noon and 1-3 p.m. beginning Aug. 1.

Students in grades 7-12 will need to come to school to register and pick up their schedule. Students in grades 7-9 will report to Brandy Alexander’s office in the Junior High School and students in grades 10-12 will report to Kristin Hensley’s office in the high school.
