Edith “Skeet” Knight Hunter, 76, of Van Buren passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018, in Fort Smith. She was a beautician and owner of Modern Miss. Edith was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lola Mae (Cason) Knight; and a brother, William Knight.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with Pastor George Lynn officiating with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Noah of the home; two daughters, Nicole Hunter and Robyn Hunter, both of Van Buren; three sisters, Lillian Neckar and Norma Siganus, both of Van Buren, and Joyce Patterson of Sallisaw; two grandchildren, Matthew Hunter and Conner Hunter, both of Van Buren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Hunter, James Hunter, Harold Hunter, Darren Hunter, Chris Boze and Christopher Blair.
The family will visit with relatives and friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren.
