William Marshall Watson Jr., 77, of Clinton, Ark., passed away Monday, Sept. 24, 2012. He was born Nov. 20, 1934, to the late William Marshall Watson Sr. and Hazel E. Kingsley. William graduated from Alread High School in 1952, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean War 1953-1956. He worked for Tyson Foods as a truck driver for 17 years, and was a member of the VFW Post 4764.
He was preceded in death by parents, William Marshall and Hazel E. (Kingsley) Watson Sr., and his first wife, Dorothy Combs Watson. He is survived by his wife Engeltje (Els) Watson; children Eva Joan Brock (Garry), Cherie Yvon Coffman; grandchildren, Savanah Coffman, William Coffman and Erin Barfield.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home Chapel, Clinton, with Pastors Lyle Koone and Charles Bennett officiating.
