How many of you have been struggling lately? I believe the enemy is working overtime, because his time is almost over! In Revelation 12:12 the Bible tells us, ”Therefore rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you! He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short.” I believe as the attacks ramp up our praise needs to ramp up! I believe there are 4 things that we can do if we want to regain the momentum in this tug of war that we are in.

First of all, some of us may be feeling the rope slip from our hands so-to-speak so we need to Regrip. In Hebrews we read a passage that tells us to take a new grip with our tired hands. I believe we can open our tired hands and praise Him and then He gives us strength to regrip! If we get cuts and bruises from the pull of the rope, we can call on the Holy Spirit to soothe those spots and cover those scars so we can Regrip and move on!

Next, we need to Replant. In Psalms 92:12-13 we read, “The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, hey will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God. Too many churches are divided, because they cannot agree on certain doctrinal issues, but I believe we need to get back to the basics of our faith and come together to reach the lost! Psalms 40 tells us that he plants on our feet on a rock and gives us a firm place to stand. In this tug of war, we need to buckle down and replant our feet.

Next ,we need to Reload. In other words, we need more teammates! I would encourage you to research how geese fly in the V formation and when one goose gets sick or is wounded by a gunshot, two other geese fall out of formation and follow it down to lend help and protection. They stay with the fallen goose until it is able to fly or dies. That sounds like a picture of how the Church should operate as we need each other to complete the work God has called us to do in these last days. I love the story of how the Maryland College was told they could not pray or invoke the name of God at their graduation speech, so everyone followed along with this until the last speaker got up to speak. All in unison, the 92 graduates sneezed at the same time, and the speaker said, “God bless you, each and every one of you!” I love that story because they worked together and found a way to ask God’s blessing on their futures, and I believe we have to have more teammates around us so we can become stronger and pull the momentum back to our side spiritually speaking.

Finally, we have to Remember. Nothing will energize and refresh us more than remembering who God is, who we are in Him, and what He’s done in our lives! In a normal tug of war, if you had those big strong guys in the back pulling, you knew you had the game won. It’s the same in our Spiritual walk as believers in Christ should realize that we have the Lion of the tribe of Judah behind us and he will get us through every situation that we face by His grace! Ephesians tell us that we are God’s handiwork which means “work done skillfully with the hands” so we can rejoice that God created us in His image and we are his handiwork! We also have to remember what He’s done in our lives and that will get us to start pulling harder during the tug of war! Psalms 77:11-12 says, “I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago. I will consider all your works and meditate on all your mighty deeds.”

We have so much to be thankful for today and we have to remember where He brought us from! In summary, in order to get the spiritual momentum back on our side, we have to REGRIP, REPLANT, RELOAD, and REMEMBER! Visit our Facebook page for full message.
