We need a new roof on the Scotland School Gym. We have to have funds before we can apply for a matching grant. The Scotland Community will be trying to raise money to do that. We will start by having a Soup and Chili Potluck (and of course desserts) on May 11. I will let you know all of the particulars when the plans are finished. We hope to have everything finalized next week. We are counting on everyone for help and support and a lot of ideas. This is for our whole community.

On April 29, the Clinton Library showed the movie (Terror at Black Falls) that was made in Scotland in 1959. I hope all of you that have not seen it got to go. Mary Hall spent several years and many hours searching for this movie and had shared it with many people in the state of Arkansas.

We wish Mary Hall a speedy recovery from her surgery last week. Mary also had a birthday this last week.

Everyone have a safe week and think about the nice weather we will have after all of this rain is gone. If anyone has news call James Burns at 592-3935 and he will see that it gets into the paper.
