An Oklahoma woman was shot to death Saturday night and her husband was arrested in the case.
The shooting occurred at about 10:45 p.m. Saturday at a residence three miles west of Spiro just off Oklahoma 9, according to a post on the LeFlore County Sheriff's Department Facebook page. Investigators say Lawrence Stanley Casey, 39, shot his wife, Lisa Casey, 45, at their residence. Lisa Casey was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel. Authorities said Lawrence Casey also pointed a handgun at another male in the residence and threatened to shoot him, too.
Lawrence Casey was taken into custody by the LeFlore County Sheriff's Department and transported to the LeFlore County Detention Center, where he was booked on charges of first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon, the post states. The incident is still under investigation by the LeFlore County Sheriff's Department and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
