Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge was at the Van Buren County Annex Monday, March 11, for a round table discussion with area leaders to review any issues and concerns. Topics covered included 911 funding, the impact of phone scams, the ability to charges sales tax for internet sales, drug abuse impact and the rise in the use of e-cigarettes by young people. Civic leaders and officials provided their insights, with some items, after review, requiring follow-up by the Attorney General’s office.
