Adam Christopher Essman, 41, of Charleston passed away Aug. 31, 2018. He was born Sept. 16, 1976, to the late Shelby and Janice (Scoggins) Essman. He was an amateur director, writer and filmmaker. He was an employee of Rogers Electric an Automotive Service Excellence certified mechanic. He loved Star Wars and Dr. Who.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Smith Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories in Charleston.
Left to cherish his memory are his fiancée, Tammy Lashley; four children, Kiowa, Amyrra, Roman and Vincent; one sister, Andrea Gregory and husband Jeff; one brother, Jarrod Essman and wife Ashley; grandmother, Johnnie Essman Reed; and three grandchildren, Jason, Elijah and Aleigha.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Smith Mortuary in Charleston.
Pallbearers will be Garrick Dunn, Paris Wilhelm, Brian Friddle, Shawn Nelson and Jeff Gregory.
